Anything past P3 saturation or past 150 nit average frame brightness level will likely not be shown accurately on either your or many consumer's displays, so careful with how far you push things. You can technically handle color management by hand with nodes, but you'd want to avoid that unless you have established workflow reasons for it. This will take over handling of your BMPCC raw footage and allow the internal color engines to behave their very best. I recommend the DaVinci Wide Gamut preset to get started. Use DaVinci Color Management, or ACES. It is possible to scale SDR footage or footage of an unknown tone curve to HDR as well, but it typically needs to be done carefully / by hand, and results will vary. You need scene-linearizable (Log / RAW) camera footage, or pre-made HDR content (like a game console recording) for best results. You need an external HDR display with a Decklink/Ultrastudio.You need DaVinci Resolve Studio (paid version).I'm that guy that's gonna give ya all the detail I can think of from start to finish.
